Integrated Systems have been around for a long time and are widely used in Europe. They are available either as a flat plate or vacuum system and are generally cheaper to buy and install than split systems but perform almost as well, however, many people consider them to be unsightly and for this reason they are particularly suited for mounting on a flat roof out of eyesight, or where space for any installation is at a premium.
